Eyeliner

Got some new eyeliner. Mac liquid, waterproof eyeliner. Awesome! Beautiful colors, I purchased aqualine and powerplum, and lasts through everything. I fell asleep with it on after wearing it out the night before. I woke up with my eyes all watery and it was perfectly in place! Best ever. Just thought I’d share.

I haven’t forgoten about you.

When I watch So You Think You Can Dance I usually cry at least once.

At the DMV waiting in a massive line to renew my expired license, I did not even realize it was expired until I got pulled over. Luckily I wasn’t driving. The girl next to me is really irritating me, it is a SINGLE file line. She should be behind me and now I feel her crowding me and slightly edging forward. Grrrr! Why can’t people follow directions!!!

Kick Ass: Awesome though I think it was not advertised correctly, it is not really a comedy but maybe they do that on purpose so your kind of shocked and uncomfortable until you get it. Awesome.

Clash of the Titans 3d: lame, forgettable. Some cool monsters.

How to Train Your Dragon 3d imax: Better then I thought it would be. Entertaining and touching and I loved the Dragons even if they didn’t really look like dragons. On the negative side it was the most expensive movie I have ever seen and I am not sure it was quite worth it.

Books

How Starbucks Saved my life: Better then I thought. Almost made me want to work at Starbucks, almost. One of those inspirational types which are not really my thing but it was really cool to have the stories of the famous people he and his father met. I really liked the Hemingway story.

Good in Bed: Got it for light chick lit and it was that and more. Really liked this story, fighting many scars and battles every woman can identify with. It does get a little far fetched in the middle but over all very good.

Boomsday: Really great! Got it in the bargain section and knew it was political satire but there is so much more to the story. It had real personal stories with a lot of character depth. I could really identify with the theme. Really well written and developed.

Wondering

I have been thinking about the past. Decisions I’ve made, people I’ve met, that sort of thing. I don’t know if I made the right choices because it led me here or if I could have been somewhere better. I guess it’s the type of thing that you can never know. It’s not that I am unhappy, at least not entirely. Just wondering…

“Good things come to those who wait” but what’s the time table on this? Am I almost there?

Duckie

Just saw Pretty in Pink on a projector in the middle of a park. It changed the perspective, made it fresh. I love those 80s movies and music. It was before perfection was mandatory. Plus I love Duckie.
